An extraordinary private property, this villa combines breathtaking views of the Caldera with spacious terraces and elegant interiors, while offering guests excellent service and a rare level of privacy. Rambling spaces and an ideal location make this property the best place from which to experience the island’s unique volcanic energy.
Lovingly re-built on the ruins of pre-existing structures, the house consists of a constellation of hypóskapha, the cave-like structures characteristic of Santorini architecture. These have been converted into fully independent bedroom suites and living rooms. Scattered as they are across multiple levels, and connected by large terraces and winding pathways, the villa resembles a small village overlooking the Aegean.
Moulded into the volcanic rock, bedrooms are cool and airy during the day, and dark and very quiet during the night. Each has its own separate entrance, en suite facilities, and a small kitchen. Decoration is simple and elegant, and great attention has been given to comfort and detail, providing all the conveniences of urban life. Discreet and attentive service succeeds in giving the villa the feel of a relaxed family house.
The spacious terraces offer different lounging areas and a number of choices for drinking and dining. The pool is the largest private pool on the Caldera, and the views are second to none. An impressive property, this villa is a wonderful example of Santorini architecture at its best. Combining simplicity with comfort, it offers privacy and peace. It’s ideal location and rare size make it the perfect choice for large groups of friends or for families with older children. It is also perfectly suited for hosting pre-wedding celebrations, or highly exclusive events.

The island of Santorini is located in the Cyclades islands, of the Aegean Sea. Sublime Santorini deserves all the superlatives. Even the most jaded traveller succumbs to the surreal landscape, relic of what was probably the biggest volcanic eruption in recorded history. The caldera and its vast curtain wall of multicoloured cliffs is spectacular.
Santorini is famous for its magical sunsets. The village of Oia on the northern tip of the island is a hugely popular sunset viewing site because there is an uninterrupted view of the sun as it finally sinks below the horizon. From farther south down the caldera edge, the last of the setting sun can be obscured by the islands of Nea Kameni and Thirasia. The beaches are unique: the most famous are Perissa, Kamari and the Red Beach.?Perissa and Kamari have a large and endless black sandy beach while the famous Red beach of Greece is composed of black and red volcanic rocks.
In addition to Oia Santorini has other captivating clifftop villages that are worth exploring- visit Fira, Messaria and Imerovigli.
