This Villa is a truly deluxe 6 bedroom villa in Tuscany, situated in the hills above Florence. A perfectly restored 15th century house, this unique villa is able to satisfy even those with the highest standards and is one of the most luxurious properties that you will find in Tuscany.

 this villa is a beautiful Medici villa commissioned by the Marchese Niccolò Antinori in the 15th century. In the 1980’s, Leonardo and Beatrice Ferragamo bought the villa it and made it their home. The villa has since been meticulously restored and has become one of the most luxurious properties for rent in Florence and Tuscany. The villa has been fitted with all of the modern and luxurious comforts, keeping it in line with the world's leading five star hotels, whilst maintaining and enhancing its original historical features.

This Villa  is located just a 5 minute drive from the centre of Florence at the top of hill, at the end of an impressive driveway lined with ancient cypress trees. It is built around a beautiful courtyard and is surrounded by stunning gardens and olive groves. Next to the Villa is the Cedar Garden, a sweeping lawn enclosed by high hedges and ancient trees, embellished by antique rose bushes and pietra serena pedestals bearing potted lemon trees, and a 300 year old Lebanese cedar.

The villa is about 400 m² and offers 6 delightful bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms as well as many other fascinating rooms including an impressive ballroom. The entrance is located under the beautiful arched loggia furnished with wrought iron chairs and couches and once inside, the hall is adorned with antique mirrors, a large antique wooden table and a decorative bronze hunting dog collection. The villa is built on three floors according to the typical layout of aristocratic villas.

On the ground floor you will find the Sala delle Feste, a magnificent 18th century ballroom complete with grand piano and impressive chandelier; a spacious living room with frescoed walls; a study; a comfortable dining room which can seat up to 20 people; a mirrored bar room and a beautiful library which is also known as the TV room with full satellite TV, DVD player and a wonderful collection of sailboat models.

On the lower floor you will find a spacious and bright open style kitchen with a typical Tuscan fireplace for indoor grilling. The kitchen is complete with all modern amenities including a dishwasher and offers plenty of space for food storage. There is also a laundry room with washing machine and two dryers. The garage next to the kitchen can also be used on request.

The villa’s extensive gardens (1000 sqm) have stunning views and include an exclusive oval shaped swimming pool and a covered dining area near the pool which is ideal for picnics or cocktails. There is another lounge area with wrought iron chairs and tables; the ideal setting for breakfast, afternoon tea, cocktails and of course dinner ‘al fresco’.

The Baldacchino Suite (44 sqm 475 sqft)
The suite boasts a king size bed with comfortable arm chairs an sofa for seating. The Empire style furnishings and epic Canopy bed make this room the most elegant of all. The en suite bathroom is decorated from floor to ceiling with frescoes in dark greens shades. The bathtub is beautifully fitted with gold and crystal antique fixtures. The shower is seperate from the tub.

The Roses Bedroom (46 sqm 497 sqft)
A charming junior suite which comprises of twin beds put together to make a king size bed; a comfortable seating area with two sofas and four very large windows offering fine views of Florence's beautiful rolling hills. There is plenty of wardrobe space in the bedroom and in the powder room. The en suite bathroom is large and has twin sinks, a large marble shower with glass door and separate tub. All of the bathrooms in the villa are of the highest level and come complete with Le Rose signature amenities.

The Guest Bedroom (26 sqm 280 sqft)
A beige and dark blue room with a king size bed. The bathroom has twin sinks, a marble shower, separate tub and plenty of space. Being a corner suite this room also boasts views overlooking the Cyprus lined drive leading up to the villa.

The Master Suite (49 sqm 530 sqft)
Otherwise known as the green suite due to the wonderful green stone used in the bathroom.This lovely suite has a functioning fireplace and very comfortable seating suitable for afternoon tea or just relaxing. The large bathroom consists of a powder room with dressing table and ample wardrobe space. The bathroom has twin sinks, shower and separate tub.

The Oriental Bedroom (36 sqm 390 sqft)
This is the smallest bedroom but it is still very charming and has an en suite with twin sink, marble shower, separate tub and bidet.

The Pink Bedroom (44 sqm 475 sqft)
Connected to the Oriental Bedroom by an adjoining door but it also has its own entrance from the first floor landing. This large, corner suite has a fireplace and cosy comfortable seating area. The oversized couch can be turned into a comfortable single bed making this bedroom a triple if necessary.

There is also a room suitable for staff on this floor, complete with en suite bathroom and mini kitchenette for warming food, tea, bottles etc.

Driveway is an impressive cypress lined gravel road leading to the formal entrance of the Villa.

The front gardens are impeccably kept English style lawns.

Entering through the formal entrance into ‘ the cortile’ which is decorated with large terra cotta vases and jasmine covering the back walls.

The ‘Loggia’ is decorated today with wrought iron chairs and couches ideal on hot summer days, the Loggia is always quite cool.

Under the Loggia is where the beautiful ‘Della Robbia’ ceramic Madonna is located.

The pool area is to the left of the formal entrance and is accessed by passing through a low wrought iron gate. The pool area is completely fenced in. The pool is oval shaped painted the colour of slate, extremely tasteful, the garden walls are original walls of the villa. The views are stunning.

The covered dining area near the pool is ideal for easy going picnics or cocktails.

In the far end of the pool area is a table for up to 6 people and can be used for light lunches.

A lounge area with wrought iron chairs and tables are close to the dining area and is ideal for cocktails.



A professional team manages the hospitality at Villa , guaranteeing a 5 star hotel service to its guests. The staff is dedicated to maintain absolute perfection from house keeping, concierge services and butler service and breakfast preparation.
